Meet Molly, my new head scarf model. I originally bought a plain cheapo polystyrene head from Ebay. The photos i took of my work were really dull and did not make my products desirable at all. So i decided to give her a make over!

Before |
I covered it it pape mache, then a coat of emulsion |
used acrylic paint to paint her |
mixing of acrylic paint to add tone and depth |
doing her make up was fun |
i used a sharpe to add her brows and lashes |
I really enjoyed making Molly and defiantly will be making some more and experimenting with different looks. But she makes the perfect model to sell my head scarfs. If you are interested in seeing more of my head scarfs, check out my

How cute! She looks sooo much better. This looks like a lot of fun, I'll have to give it shot for funsies.
ReplyDeleteWow you painted that yourself? How cute is Molly! You should make some and sell them. I saw them on Etsy a while back
ReplyDeleteOoooo, she's a looker! I've been thinking about doing the same thing for ages, but was unsure of how it would turn out. You've proven that it turns out beautifully! Nice work and a very helpful post! Cheers, my dear!
